Do you need super anti spyware? It may seem like an appropriate question, but I am not sure if it is valid. Why? It seems like spyware either works or it does not. Nothing super is required.
Personally, plenty of free spyware programs are available online. In fact, Spyware Doctor is a popular favorite. Although freeware, it still has some of the same user-friendly capabilities of the purchased versions of the program. For most people, the free download will probably do the trick adequately.
However, there are paid versions available for download at a reasonable price, so maybe they are super? Actually, the more sophisticated versions of the software are probably for the professionals with a whole network of computers to keep free from infiltration by hijackers and people who are willing to be a total pain for personal gain.
For example, the local school district has spyware protection. With thousands of people capable of getting on the same system, and possibly opening a door that can essentially cause the entire system to crash, it does take a certain level of super protection to keep the system clean and hacker-free.
Unlike the free versions, the more advanced forms of spyware protection may clean the system more thoroughly, but the big deal is the technical support. Should there be a problem with the program, someone is receiving pay to help iron out the kinks and make sure the program is doing its job satisfactorily.
Also, updates are so important. Watch the technical part of any newscast, and it is not uncommon to hear about a new strain of viruses that is affecting users adversely. Updates are always coming out to counteract some sort of glitch concocted by a sick mind to ruin the day for many businesses and personal computer consumers.
So, if you are simply using the home computer to surf the Web, chances are you do not need anything that resembles super anti spyware. However, if you are part of a larger network of computers, and cannot monitor the use of everyone online, it may be in company’s best interest to Invest in a spyware program with technical support and regular updates.
