For the average user a spyware fix entails downloading some kind of protection program, scheduling the scans, and mentally walking away from the problem. However, a recent web blog suggests that not all programs get everything, and a mixture of programs may be beneficial.
Say what? I do not want to inundate my computer with 10 spyware programs. I have too many other files and programs to sacrifice the space for other software that basically does the same thing? At least that is how I am thinking. But, maybe I am wrong.
Admittedly, I am not a computer geek. I learned to use the computer mostly by trial and error. I have learned some information regarding how a computer works, and what I need to look for in assets and liabilities. But, for the most part, I count on the scan to keep me safe.
Unfortunately, I recently read that spyware often get clogged. Then, it fails to adequately protect a computer. So, another program should also be implemented to catch what the first one might have missed. In addition, sometimes when questionable software should have already been removed, it will pop back up after the computer has been rebooted.
What is up with that? Am I safe, or not? What are the options available to make certain my computer is safe. Well, I have decided to go back to CNET.com, my trusted site for downloads, and checked. SpotZilla is one of their top-rated software downloads designed to kill all infections on contact. So, why not give it a shot, and have a second scan.
However, I will not go as far as to download a third and fourth software program to protect my computer. I have saved all of my files for the last 10 years. I do not want to run out of room for the new stuff I will create or download for further use.
So, if you are truly interested in a spyware fix, and you are afraid the current program might miss something. Go ahead and have two. Surely, the two programs will alternately protect the computer and keep the other from getting clogged so to speak.
