We all know that passwords should be kept with utmost confidentiality within us to avoid people who use password recorders to hack us. The thing is, stealing another password is sometimes seen as a triumph of sorts since not only does it allow you to access another person’s files, it also allows you to create problems and tamper with them as you would want.
There are a lot of password recorders used over the web today. A lot of them are being avoided through security measures but it seems that not all people are really aware of the harm that they can do. Outside that of allowing others to gain access, password recorders also allow other people to assume identities and do anything such as deletion and editing of files to which they gain access. The thought alone is quite disturbing. But at the rate that technology is gaining headway, there are also some other points to which they are pointing towards no good means.
So how do you avoid these password recorders? Well for one thing, they come in forms and approaches. Some people have them installed in sights using scripts. These can even go as far as penetrating systems through emails. Unknown files, especially the ones that are executable should be avoided. Even if you do know the person who sent it to you, think twice. Some may think of these files as jokes or helpful stuff. But in the end, don’t wait until you are not sure since it may be something you will surely regret in the end.
Some say that making passwords as lengthily and harder through alpha-numeric combinations can make it harder for other people to hack on to their account. But once password recorders find their way, rest assured that regardless of how hard your password may be, it will all be gone for naught. So outside that of creating hard passwords, you also have to be careful in making it a practice to save them automatically.
