Each time you log on to the web, chances are you would prefer to have a startup page which will eventually become your home page. A simple page which may send you harmful cookies and temp files is all they need to do. After that, expect some headaches from thereon, all complements of browser hijacking at your service.

So the next time around, be extra cautious of the new sites you intend to visit. One click can make a difference for browser hijacking attempts. Do not wait for this to happen because chances are you will turn to panic mode to get you out of that predicament.
